We are an educational institution located in the beautiful suburb of Bandra. Serving the community for over 60 years, our institution has been instrumental in the education of girls in accordance with the values of the Carmelite order.

As Apostolic Carmelites called to live in God’s presence and sharing in Christ’s Mission to transform the world in love, we Sisters of the Apostolic Carmel respond like Mary and our Foundress Mother Veronica by our lives of Consecration. We strive to draw out the full potential of our students and especially of the women we educate. We foster in them the rich values of Christian and cultural heritage so that they are urged to respond to life’s challenges with the joy and courage that is rooted in prayer, and committed to serve society as responsible citizens.

Our Motto

The Motto ‘God is My Strength’ capsules the idea contained in the Logo or Emblem. The world is upheld by God’s hands (Higher Hands) guiding it. He is the bright “flame that illumines our lives and provides warmth and nourishment that enables the tender shoot to sprout and grow and remain healthy and green always. At the helm, to crown it all is Mary Queen of Carmel our model and protectress of Apostolic Carmel Students.

Principal's Message

Apostolic Carmel High School, established in 1953 as an all-girls school, is currently affiliated to the Maharashtra State Board. It is run by the Apostolic Carmel Sisters; a congregation of religious sisters founded in Bayonne, France on 16th July 1868 by the Venerable Mother Veronica. The main aim of this Congregation is the upliftment of women through an all-round education. The Order currently runs educational institutions in India and across various countries. Keeping this aim in mind, the School plans to open an ICSE section from the academic year 2018 -2019. The Institution is already blessed with well-planned, airy classrooms, a large playground, up-to-date computer laboratories and the latest Information Technology in every classroom.
